Prerequisites

Everything you need before starting

Fire TV Stick

The only sticks that wont work are the newer more rounded sticks, For best performance use Firestick 4K with at least 2GB RAM.

PSP Game Files

Play PSP games on your firestickDownload any game .ISO or Connect a USB stick with games pre-loaded.

Downloader App

Install the free Downloader app from the Amazon Appstore to sideload PPSSPP Emulator Gold & Download games.

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow along carefully

Enable Developer Options On Your Firestick

Unlock sideloading capabilities by enabling ADB debugging and apps from unknown sources.

Navigate to Settings > My Fire TV > About
Click Fire TV Stick 7 times until you see "You are now a developer!"
Go back to My Fire TV > Developer Options. Turn ON ADB Debugging and Install Unknown Apps for Downloader.

Install PPSSPP Emulator Gold

Start downloader & install the official PPSSPP Emulator Gold Android APK directly to your Firestick.

Launch the Downloader app from Your Apps & Channels
In the URL bar, enter: 6531320 & Wait for the timer
Download PPSSPP Emulator Gold Premium
When download completes, select Install. Then hit Done.

Download Game Files

Download your Game / .zip files to your Firestick using one of these methods.

Using Downloader Codes: 6531320 or 6022831

Use Downloader & enter this code 6531320 or 6022831 Wait for the countdown Download any game .iso file
Click 'DONE' When the file has completed downloading

Pro Tip: Use a PC & USB Drive

Download games to your pc, Transfer them to a USB Stick Connect the USB stick to your firestick using a OTG Cable.

Launch & Load Games

Open PPSSPP and point it to your transferred game files.

Start PPSSPP from Your Apps & Channels
Tap the Download folder, then click the Downloader folder
Select your game file. It will boot and start immediately!

Optimize Settings for TV

Configure controls and graphics for the best living-room experience.

Connect PS4, PS5 or Xbox Remotes to your firestick
Go to firestick 'Settings' >> 'Remotes & Bluetooth' >> Game Controllers
In Game Controls: Go to the Settings > Controls > Control Mapping to bind your Fire TV remote or Bluetooth gamepad
Graphics: Set Rendering Mode to Vulkan on Firestick 4K for smoother performance
Performance: If Games Lag Enable Auto-Frameskip and lower rendering resolution to 1x PSP

Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for common issues

Can't Find Games?

Format your USB drive as FAT32 or exFAT. NTFS drives often fail to mount properly on Firestick OS.

PPSSPP Crashes?

Clear the app cache via Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > PPSSPP > Clear Cache.

Slow Gameplay?

Lower rendering resolution to 1x PSP in Graphics settings. On Firestick Lite, set Frameskip to 1 or 2.

Controller Issues?

Pair Bluetooth controllers in Settings > Controllers & Bluetooth Devices first, then map buttons inside PPSSPP.
